Eglajean Jean was born on December 4, 1933, in Fabiasse, Haiti. He is the second of Stephen Jean (deceased) and Gucilia Pierretilus (deceased) five children, Lanié (deceased), Joseph Botex (deceased), Stelem (deceased) and Pierre-cilia (deceased). Eglajean did not attend any educational institution, but his father instilled many skills which he was able to use throughout his life to support his growing family. Eglajean migrated to the United States settling in Miami with his wife Yvonne Valentin in October 1999. He was an active member at L’eglise de Dieu Fleuves D’eau Vive. On May 2, 2022, Eglajean completed his mission here on earth at the age of 88. Although the cause of death is unknown, and Dementia was the root of his illness, we can conclude that while he was able bodied he was filled with so many loving attributes; Integrity, Love, Respect, very giving, a hard worker, and a man of his word. He will always be remembered as such.
